My Story

I have always been a creative soul, and my journey into fashion began at an early age. I often found myself peeking into my mom’s wardrobe, trying on her heels and makeup, and asking her to drape her Sarees on me. Fast forward 20 years, and I graduated as a fashion designer.

But there was a quirky twist to my story. Being both plump and petite, I never conformed to traditional beauty standards. Nothing fit me quite right, which led me to develop a low self-image. It was ironic how I was designing clothes for others, but they never quite worked for me.

As I navigated through the years, I tried observing and copying what other people wore that made them look great, thinking it would give me the same results. But copying someone else's style never truly worked. After numerous experiments with my wardrobe, I realized that my approach wasn't working and I was tired of experimenting. I was also now more busy with work & life and wanted a more anchored strategy to solve my problems. I wanted to dress well every day, and without so much stress. Determined to find a solution, I decided to learn the art of dressing.

I can't explain the confidence I felt when I started wearing the fits, colors, and textures that were right for me. Having the right pieces in my closet freed up so much of my energy I used to spend worrying about what to wear each morning. I noticed a huge difference in my self-confidence, and slowly, my self-image healed.

Now, I help women look and feel confident by making style easy, accessible, and personalised for them. To date, I have helped 600+ women gain the same kind of stress-free confidence.

My Style Philosophy

My approach to styling is rooted in practicality and intention. I prefer to carefully curate everything that goes into my own wardrobe, rather than blindly following trends. Each piece is thoughtfully selected with intention, to serve a purpose and is used until it’s time to replace it.

Having been an educator in the past, I like to break information down into manageable chunks for myself, and I do the same for my clients to simplify style for them so they can feel less overwhelmed and more relaxed in their style choices.

I believe everyone has an innate sense of style- what they may lack are the tools to express it authentically. I also believe that the foundation of great style is having a wardrobe that houses the right pieces for YOU that work for YOUR lifestyle, YOUR body, and YOUR budget. Putting together great outfits becomes very easy once you have the right items in your wardrobe.

I am driven to always find ways to achieve maximum style with minimum effort. To this end, I borrow knowledge used by stylists across the world to bring you the most succinct version of it, which my clients can apply almost like a formula to their wardrobe. I aim to create for my clients a wardrobe that reduces friction in their everyday dressing, making it an effortless experience. But I don’t just give them the solutions; I also educate them how they can continue achieving these results on their own, long after our work together is complete.
